Cooking Classes

Kitchen Conservatory offers more than 1500 different cooking classes every year. These fun cooking classes are taught by the talented chefs and fabulous culinary educators who share their specialties of the kitchen. We offer both fully-participatory classes and demonstration classes that feature a wide variety of menus and themes from beginner to gourmet to ethnic cooking. All cooking classes are held at 9011 Manchester Road.

FORK AND CORK: FRANCE

Sommelier Kelcey Dale shares her vast knowledge of an exciting selection of French wines that will be paired with an array of dishes created by Mickey Kitterman. Enjoy French lentil and artichoke salad, roasted pork tenderloin with green peppercorns and roquefort, spinach and rice gratin, plus buckwheat crêpes with poached apples and Calvados whipped cream.

BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

Come in out of the cold, and join Mickey Kitterman to create a stunning meal to start the holiday season. This hands-on class will make baked brie with sun-dried tomatoes and white balsamic pesto served with French bread, an arugula-Thai basil-parsley herb salad with toasted almonds and pink peppercorns tossed in verjus vinaigrette, roasted duck breast served with napa cabbage amandine with orange vinaigrette, plus dark chocolate pots de crème.

SUGAR PLUM FAIRY TEA

Treasure the magic of the holidays, as Lydia Gwin offers a variety of teas including Crème de Earl Grey and Cranberry Crush and prepares delectable offerings. Enjoy all allium mini quiches with arugula-cranberry-pecan salad with goat cheese and lemon vinaigrette, browned butter-butternut squash soup, scones with spiced carrot jam, plus masala chai poached pears with crème anglaise.
