Back in the day, Sharon Tutko was an adventure-seeking young woman with chef knives eager to experience the world. Most of those things still ring true as she shares the significant food that is still part of her life in this monthly series. From a lazy fishing village in the Yucatán Peninsula that Sharon frequented with yoga pals, enjoy red snapper sautéed in a gentle olive-tomato-onion sauce with capers and garlic served with fluffy white rice, chicken tinga - a dish learned in a tiny cooking school, with a chipotle tomato sauce served in a double corn tortilla with sour cream and avocado, plus tres leches cake with fresh berries, and a refreshing spiked agua fresca steeped from the hibiscus flower. #weekday
