SOUTH INDIA SATURDAY - PRAWNS MASALA
Elizabeth Georgin, from Kerala, India, shares traditional dishes from her country in a monthly series. This hands-on class will learn to create bread pakora stuffed with spiced potatoes and fried in chickpea batter, prawns masala served with ghee rice, vendakka mappas - an okra curry cooked in coconut milk with shallots and tomatoes, plus sooji halwa - a sweet semolina dessert.
