DATE NIGHT FOR COUPLES: THAT'S AMORE
Dean Martin might be heard crooning in the background, as this hands-on class for couples creates a romantic dinner, starting with a duo of bruschetta. Sharon Tutko will lead this class to create puréed cannellini beans and roasted garlic bruschetta with sage, sautéed spicy rapini greens bruschetta with currants, goat cheese soufflés over winter greens and pears with red wine vinaigrette topped with dried cranberries and walnuts, pollo in pane - a lovely presentation of tender chicken pie cooked "in bread" with red wine and garlic baked in homemade pizza dough, plus Italian almond cake Amaretto-scented mascarpone and fresh berry coulis, and a pomegranate martini or mocktail.
