This hands-on class with chef Sharon Tutko will discover how to plan for a party, setting an appetizer buffet with different levels using risers and tiles, and how to calculate how many hors d'oeuvres and wine is needed for your guests. Learn to create panko-crusted corn and shrimp cakes with chile-cilantro crema, crab and spinach-stuffed portobello mushrooms grilled with mozzarella, smoked chicken empanadas with Santa Fe dipping sauce, wild mushroom beggar's purses in phyllo, crispy parmesan artichokes with capers and saba accented with a splash of lemon, plus summer gazpacho sippers with avocado crema.
